Greater Chicago Cricket Association
GCCA is a premier non-profit organization registered to introduce the game of cricket and provide comprehensive training to the young children from age six and above.
GCCA has its roots since summer 2001 when parents and kids played cricket together in an informal, festive atmosphere. The organization has grown by introducing the cricket game to interested kids in the western suburbs of Chicago, providing them coaching, enhancing their skills and developing a team to play competitive cricket.
Our Goals
- To introduce and educate children about the game of cricket
- Develop and enhance their skills by focusing on their abilities and interests such as batting, bowling, and fielding
- Embed the sportsman spirit and build self esteem by boosting their confidence
- Develop a cohesive team spirit to play competitive cricket
GCCA Today
GCCA, today has more than twenty registered children seeking coaching and developing skills by focusing in a particular area of interest.
